What is marketing?

Traditional marketing techniques include television, radio, mail, and word-of-mouth. Though traditional marketing is still prevalent, digital marketing now allows companies to engage in e-mail, social media, affiliate, and content marketing strategies.

At its core, marketing seeks to take a product or service, to its ideal customers, and draw the customers' attention to the available product or service.



What is a marketing funnel?
A marketing funnel describes your customer’s journey with you from the beginning.
I.e From the initial stages when someone learns about your business, to the purchasing stage.
With careful analysis, a marketing funnel lets you know what your company must do to influence consumers at certain stages. By proper evaluation of the marketing funnel, you can potentially increase your sales, with more loyalty and stronger brand awareness.

The marketing funnel works as
The “AIDA” model indicates that every purchase involves: 



1.Awareness: The prospect is aware of their problems and possible accessible solutions for them.
2.Interest: The prospect shows interest in a group of services or products.
3.Desire: The prospect begins to evaluate a certain brand.
4.Action: The prospect decides whether to purchase or not.
